Niggeler & Küpfer Textile Group, already present in Tunisia since 1998 with its Spinning and weaving facilities, bought in 2008 an historical plant of Dyeing and finishing for orthogonal fabrics (warp and weft) in Tunisian area of Bir el Kassa in Ben Arous (Tunis), through the Company named Teinturerie Finissage Méditerraneéns (TFM).
The production unit TFM, more than processing fabrics for the NK finished fabrics division (Algitex - Principio attivo - La Panamà) and for the workwear division, can also do third party processes.
The TFM Project was born thanks to the need to develop in Tunisia a plant for processing orthogonal fabrics (warp and weft) of cotton, linen, polyester and other fibers.
The plan of investments consisted in the complete renovation of machineries and of systems, with all finishing processes provided by the most modern technologies aimed to get the highest quality standards of prepared for garment dying fabrics (PFD) and of piece-dyed fabrics.
TFM works on fabrics supplied by customers, according to the scheme of workings on behalf of third parties.
TFM can process customers’ fabrics, following the third party manufactoring rules. TFM focuses to all textile players such as raw fabrics producers, converters, garment makers for fashion industry (casual, man, woman, kids), shirting producers, producers of protective garments, hospital fabrics and garments, technical fabrics, military and administrative tenders.
